I’m Emma, owner and practitioner at The Laser Room. I’m a registered nurse with over 18 years of clinical experience and more than a decade of advanced training in assessment, treatment planning, and prescribing. This medical background underpins my approach to skin health, safety, and evidence-based care.
Over the years, I have trained extensively in a wide range of aesthetic and skin treatments. While my background includes injectable and advanced aesthetic procedures, my focus has evolved towards providing results-driven skincare treatments using medical-grade laser technology. My practice is centred on treating the underlying causes of skin concerns rather than offering temporary or trend-led solutions.

We use the Lynton Lumina device, supplied by Lynton Lasers, the UK’s No.1 aesthetic laser and IPL manufacturer. Lynton Lasers designs and manufactures medical-grade devices used extensively across private clinics and the NHS, with strong foundations in clinical research, safety, and performance.
IPL technology is used where clinically appropriate to treat concerns such as pigmentation, vascular lesions, rosacea, redness, skin rejuvenation, and unwanted hair. Treatment suitability is always determined following careful assessment of skin type and concern.
For skin resurfacing and texture concerns, we use an Er:YAG laser resurfacing handpiece, which delivers fractional laser resurfacing treatments. Fractional resurfacing is used to improve skin texture, scarring, pigmentation irregularities, and stretch marks by stimulating skin renewal and collagen remodelling, while preserving surrounding tissue to support controlled healing.
